The Oji Group gives top priority to Safety, the Environment, and Compliance among important management tasks in corporate activities.
With regard to compliance, we have made it our fundamental policy to promote corporate activities with an awareness of being members of a corporate citizen and by high ethical standards that respond to the trust of society, not to mention complying with laws and regulations. We have set these policies in the Oji Group Corporate Code of Conduct and the Oji Group Behavior Standard and stipulated specific rules to be observed.
The Oji Group Corporate Code of Conduct and the Oji Group Behavior Standard*, as well as the CEO Message (Sound Commonsense, Sensibility to Improper Things, and Courage to Take Actions), are distributed to all Group employees in the form of a booklet, and employees keep them in mind and strive to put them into practice.
*The Oji Group Corporate Code of Conduct and the Oji Group Behavior Standard were established in 2004 by reflecting the principles on human rights, labor, the environment, and anti-corruption of the UN Global Compact.
