Promoting activities of compliance
Oji Group established Corporate Compliance Dept. in Corporate Governance Division as promoting organization of corporate compliance. Promoting activities of compliance in the Group is presided by General Manager of Corporate Governance Division as "Responsible official of promoting and heading corporate compliance". In each subsidiary company of the Group including overseas, "Compliance responsible person" and "Compliance promoting leader" are implementing promoting activities of their corporate compliance.
<Main promoting activities of compliance>
(1) Implementation of education and trainings
Seminars on the Subcontract Act, Seminars on the Antimonopoly Act, Training
for new employees,
Training for new managers, Training in other group company, etc.

Issuance of " Compliance News" every month, "Global Compliance News"
for overseas every two months

(5) Conduct of compliance awareness survey
Confirmation of compliance situation for “Group Corporate Code” and “Group
Behavior Standard”, about the presence of harassment, and situation of
organizational climate, etc.
Business Ethics Helpline
Oji Group operates a “Business Ethics Helpline” as a consultation desk in cases of questioning and wondering about violation of laws and Oji Group Corporate Code/ Oji Group Behavior Standard in a daily work.
It is a basic rule to report and consult with their superior or consultation desk in each company at first and try to solve problems, it is available to contact “Business Ethics Helpline” in Japan and China in cases like:
Their superior, whom to report and consult with, is violating laws/ Corporate Code,
Already have reported and consulted with their superior or consultation desk but no reaction has made at all,
Looked and heard violation of laws and Oji Group Corporate Code/ Oji Group Behavior Standard, but difficult or unable to consult
“Business Ethics Helpline” accepts telephone and email, and also under anonymity.
Contact points are in Corporate Compliance Dept. in Corporate Governance Division and also the other outside of the company at a law office.
Implementing measures for anti-corruption
Oji Group have prohibited bribery in Group Behavior Standard before. In recent years, bribery cases are increasing in overseas and regulations are tighter, and the risk is also increasing, thus we formulated the “Group Bribery Prevention Regulations” in 2015 and reacted this more definitely and specifically, and trying to reduce risk of bribery.
And Corporate Compliance Dept. in Corporate Governance Division centrally is working to disseminate it to whole group by having seminars, and raise awareness about compliance through Compliance News and many kinds of education and trainings.
