Oji Holdings Corporation announces its sponsorship of "Forest Conference 2026.", which be held on August 21, 2026, at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology.
"Forest Conference" is a forum dedicated to rethinking forests as natural capital and reshaping sustainable forest management, which brings together practitioners from a wide range of disciplines beyond forestry, fostering dialogue that connects forests, cities, and people.
Last year's conference attracted a full audience and received highly positive feedback from participants.
The 2026 conference, under the theme "Redefining Society Through Forests", will explore how forests can help address societal challenges through diverse perspectives, including wildlife, urban development, watersheds, design, and business.
The program features sessions led by leading companies and practitioners from across industries,
exploring new ways to build a society that thrives together with forests.
As a company that has sustainably managed healthy forests and created value from forest resources for more than 100 years, Oji Holdings will participate in the talk session "Diversified Forest Management".
The session will explore challenges and future opportunities for sustainable forest management beyond timber production.
