Notices

Oji Holdings Corporation (President: Hiroyuki Isono; Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) announces its sponsorship of “Mori no Ichi 2026 – Synchronizing in the Urban Forest,” to be held from October 22 (Thu) to October 24 (Sat), 2026, at Otemachi Tower in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.

Organized by Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd. (President: Katsuhito Ozawa; Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo), “Mori no Ichi 2026” is an event held in Otemachi Forest under the concept of bringing people, places, companies, and products together in harmony. Surrounded by a forest in the heart of Tokyo, visitors can discover forests and forestry from across Japan and meet producers who make use of the gifts of the forest.

Our lives in cities benefit in many ways from forests, even those far beyond our everyday surroundings. Oji Holdings owns approximately 190,000 hectares of forests in Japan. Rather than viewing these forests simply as a source of timber, the Company manages them appropriately to maintain healthy forests and support their diverse functions, including the provision of clean water and air.
The “WITH FOREST PROJECT,” through which the Oji Group collaborates with the globally popular Moomin characters to communicate the value forests bring to our lives, shares a common vision with “Mori no Ichi,” which aims to connect the regions that protect and nurture forests with people in cities. This shared vision led Oji Holdings to sponsor the event.

At “Mori no Ichi 2026,” the Oji Group will present “MOOMIN × OJI “Forest Time KIITOS MARCHÉ,” offering a special selection of products featuring original Moomin designs and incorporating technologies developed through the Group's long history of forest management. These products will be available for purchase at the event.
